Rockstar (prod. Dee B) Story

It was summer time and I really wanted to make music. Being in a small community like Ross River was difficult to record music. I also did not own any recording equipment. No one seemed to know how to support me. I had no idea what to do to produce a song.

I had to figure stuff out on my own. I finally realized that I could record on my Voice Memos from my phone. I emailed a producer name Dee B and asked him for a good beat like Lil Uzi Vert Type.

The beat arrived and it made me come alive and I knew it was the one. Finding a quiet spot to record was hard to do. I often had to wait until everyone was out of the house to record.

I purchased Logic Pro X software so I could do some recordings. I was nervous and I constantly worried about things that could go wrong. I was finally able to airdrop my voice on Logic Pro X.

I began writing lyrics and couldn’t stop. I had this non-stop energy to write and write. It took me about an hour to complete the lyrics.

I recorded the whole day with a blanket over my head. I made my song in a day. I completed the mastering and did some editing. The final stage was to get feedback. I called my friends and asked them to have a listen. After their approval and our jumping around -the song was posted on sound cloud, and a week later it was on every platform.
