I am Stewart Tizya and Im 23 years old, Currently I'm the gallery manager for Northern cultural expression society.
I went to the art Institute of Vancouver in 2016 for a year, and we studied all sorts of things throughout the course and photojournalism was part of that.

I would go out and then try to find a story or create a story, which was pretty cool. That's what I miss I did a story on people on their phones vs. people playing soccer, or like homeless people trying to get their perspective than someone who has somewhere to live and has everything.I was also a beginner Carver for NCES, doing miniature paddles, painting, designing, and I used to teach in the schools. When I used to teach in the schools it was traditional formline design, painting, like colour coordinating and the difference between the Raven and Wolf designs, like how they're similar, but not really in the different clan moieties and just like trying to teach kids there's more to it than what you see. There is always a deeper meaning behind the native designs.
